Pantone, the world-renowned authority on color, has crowned a zesty shade of green its Color of the Yearāunderscoring a natural color story weāve long told at JLF Design Build. Pantone 15-0343 Greenery recalls the spring shade of young grass, the immersive experience of nature in fresh bloom, the natural integration we strive for in our structures.
We pull our palette from the landscapes in which we workāthe tawny tones of time-hewn timbers, the muted grays of river rockāinspiration that sets a neutral stage upon which our clients layer art and furnishings. And yet, with every window placed, we frame natureās seasonal narrativeāa plot in which Greenery plays a starring role. Any appearance by the vibrant shade conjures an awakening experience. Pantone describes its pick as:
A refreshing and revitalizing shade, Greenery is symbolic of new beginningsā¦ Greenery is natureās neutral. The more submerged people are in modern life, the greater their innate craving to immerse themselves in the physical beauty and inherent unity of the natural worldā¦ A life-affirming shade, Greenery is also emblematic of the pursuit of personal passions and vitality.
Affirming indeed. Great pick, Pantone.
