“Nestled in the woods in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, just a few steps away from the main house, this beautiful guesthouse reflects a unique marriage of modern and traditional architectural elements. At just 1000 square feet—the Teton County limit for guesthouses, it packs a big punch.” So begins a feature in the October/November issue of American Farmhouse Style magazine about a charming multi-purpose cottage created as an auxiliary to a design-build collaboration by JLF Architects with Dovetail Construction/Big-D Signature and WRJ Design known as Aspen Meadows on a site rich with aspen trees and Teton views. As JLF principal Logan Leachman tells the magazine, “The concept for this guesthouse, detached but close to the main house, was as a dual-purpose space that would work as an office for the owner on the main level and overflow space for guests and grandchildren in the form of a bunkroom on the lower level with a small game room and bathroom.”
