Conceived as a “Paul Bertelli modern,” the 8,500-square-foot house mimics smaller structures, honoring the spirit of Utah homesteaders when “one man with an ax and a horse built a home,” Bertelli says. Yet the forms are connected by glass corridors in a fresh contemporary approach.
