In its most popular “Rustic” issue, Mountain Living featured not one but two homes by JLF Architects. “Third Time’s a Charm” tells of a family that eventually settled on “a sprawling lot with 270-degree views and the best ski-in/ski-out at the [Big Sky, Montana] Yellowstone Club” and the six-bedroom Montana moss rock home JLF designed there (pictured above). In “Mountain Mixture,” a home in Jackson Hole’s Teton Village “takes its cues from European design,” including a unique stone-and-timber “inglenook.”
