A JLF Architects-designed house on the Snake River in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is featured in the winter issue of San Francisco luxury magazine Capture. In a conversation with the magazine, JLF architect John Lauman talks, among other topics, about the house’s sustainable approach to its setting, exhibited both in its low profile on the dramatically beautiful riverside site and in specific elements such as salvaged timber, regional stone, a new geothermal system, and high-efficiency window glazing. Asked about changes in the industry over the past decade, Lauman notes that it’s now easier “to convince clients that our architect-led Design-Build process with Big-D Signature [is] the better option.”
