“Fair warning: your guests might not want to leave,” writes Homestead in an article sharing nine ideas from top designers and architects “that will take your guesthouse to the next level.” The magazine, which focuses on Jackson Hole homes and lifestyles, tapped JLF Architects co-owner Logan Leachman for his expert advice on making the diminutive dwellings destined for visitors feel just right. His response comes in at #6, Proper Proportions. “We’re bringing the same level, or even enhanced, details as in the larger house into this smaller package,” Leachman tells the magazine. “When proportions are correct, a space has a relaxing, calming feeling” that you just know when it happens.
