When it comes to mountain-home bathrooms, freestanding bathtubs are undisputedly “the star of the show,” writes Mountain Living in its September/October issue’s annual best baths feature, calling the tubs “a welcoming destination at any hour” and “bold, blissful and better than ever.” The primary bathroom from JLF Architect’s Aspen Meadows house, created in collaboration with WRJ Design and Big-D Signature, was selected to the magazine’s highlighted top-five spaces for 2024. “A great bathroom has the power to touch all of our senses, and this bath … is an exquisite example,” ML writes, calling out details like the Ann Sacks Mia marble wall tile, Waterworks Voltaire tub, heated limestone flooring and custom cabinetry in band-sawn white oak designed by JLF principal Logan Leachman.
