Winter 2022
When a Chicago-area couple decided to make Jackson, Wyoming, their post-retirement home base, āa place where they could actually live instead of just pop in for summers and holidays,ā they enlisted Paul Bertelli and Jake Scott of JLF Architects to make their dream house a reality. The resulting 6,500-square-foot rustic and refined alpine abode features a classical mix of locally sourced materialsāreclaimed wood (including retired snow fence) and rugged Montana moss rockāoffset by plush furnishings and soft tones from Jackson Hole interior designers Tayloe Piggott and John Thorkildsen.
