As we do at the start of the new year, every project must begin by clearly articulating goals.
New year, new resolutions, or rather, renewed resolutions. We believe in the existing bedrock of values; that goals evolve, requiring recommitment. Turning a new calendar page prompts such resolve: to replot, in forgiving pencil, the path forward.
This ritual of determination rings true in design-build: Clear articulation of vision at the onset of a project makes for greater fulfillment throughout the process. When all parties involved—client, architect, builder, engineer, craftspeople—can communicate their expectations, the project becomes about manifestation and realization, not interpretation. “I want to give the clients their expectations in the best way possible,” JLF Partner Ashley Sullivan says. “I am proud of what I do, and of the honesty that we all bring to the table.”
Honesty and integrity: Pillars upholding our design-build philosophy; pillars supported by clear articulation and communication.
