“Our Home of the Year judges fell in love with this project,” said Mountain Living Editor in Chief Darla Worden, announcing a JLF Architects residence in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, built in collaboration with Big-D Signature and with interiors by WRJ Design, as winner of the magazine’s 22nd Home of the Year award. Selected from hundreds of entries from mountain communities in eight U.S. states and British Columbia that were whittled down to 48 finalists, the win for the project is a milestone for JLF Architects. A turn-key project inspired by place, the nuanced contemporary homestead is at once rooted in history and punctuated by contemporary influences.
